Graduate from Redpoint’s 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training:
“Andy has been an inspiring teacher, a supportive friend and a great counselor to me.
During my 3-month training, Andy was in charge of the program curriculum which was interesting, informative and easy to understand.
After the course, Andy has been giving me good advice for starting up my career as a professional yoga teacher. As I’m a new yoga teacher, he supports by sending me many job opportunities in Saigon where I live. Thanks to Andy, now I have achieved many goals in starting up my yoga career just one year since I graduated.”

Graduate from Redpoint’s 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training:
“Andy has great knowledge, education skills, is friendly and professional. He’s has provided both physical and psychological development in my yoga career path.
After graduation, Andy supported me to fine tune my resume to apply to some popular studios in Ho Chi Minh City. He was willing to join my very first classes and give helpful feedback at the end of each class.
I’ve also heard positive feedback from many of my fellow yogis about Andy’s teaching style and his willingness to help. His strong passion and love for yoga can be seen throughout his teaching.”
Co-Owner of Yoga Sculpt n Shape Studio - www.YogaSnS.com (Hosting Studio for Redpoint Yoga Teacher Training):

I feel comfortable working with Andy and rest assured with his timely teaching plan. As a teacher, I like Andy’s classes for his nice voice, attentive teaching and creative flows.”
Teena Nguyen
American International School of Vietnam Valedictorian, Class of 2016:
“I had the chance to take Mr. Seymour's classes throughout all four years of high school. His classes were very clear, well structured, well thought out, and well executed. Mr. Seymour is very mindful about applying the science of how students learn best to teach his classes in the most effective way.
After my high school graduation, Mr. Seymour continued to offer personal and professional support. As he pivoted to explore the mindfulness/yoga path, he makes meaningful connections to the principles of theory of knowledge, which makes his yoga lessons and mindfulness curriculum very unique and effective. They are the culmination of his journeys in different countries and different fields.
American International School, Class of 2016:
“Mr. Seymour has a broad range of teaching – he is constantly challenging himself to try out different subjects and do them really well.
One of the best features is his dedication towards the students. He’s the most hardworking individual I know and it’s a very rare and special thing that he does.
What he does – and he’s been doing it ever since I was in 9th grade – is he always makes time for students to come and ask him anything. He would listen and help me structure my thoughts better. He often had follow up questions related to real-life examples to help me better support my claim. He’s a patient and respectful listener of all that I bring to the table.
Mr. Seymour is dedicated. More than a teacher, really he is a mentor who would go the extra mile to help us.”
American International School, Class of 2016
“I’ve known Mr. Seymour for approximately six years now. I first met him in my freshman year of high school while I was attending the American International School of Vietnam. There, as my social studies teacher, he was always kind and solicitous to me as someone who was studying abroad for the first time.
Mr. Seymour was a highly supportive figure whose class truly broadened my scope of knowledge. In particular, he sparked my interest in the fight against human trafficking when I had not realized that such a thing existed before. What we learned in class eventually inspired me to help create an anti-human trafficking club once I returned to the United States.
Once I came back to the U.S., Mr. Andy and I kept in touch as he encouraged and advised me through various periods of my academic life. He even aided me in my aspirations to enter into politics by drawing up a few of his contacts who were already working in political office.
In short, Mr. Andy is a truly kind and gracious person whose advice has helped me through high school and college, and I’m grateful for his guidance.”
Scott Carpenter
Social Studies Dept. Head @ American International School of Vietnam (2012 – 2014):
“I’ve had the opportunity of working with Andy as a co-worker and serving as his department coordinator. It is with my utmost pleasure to act as his reference.
His is a hard-working educator who tries to bring many different learning opportunities to his students, including successfully piloting an apprenticeship program with some of our 9th graders.
In addition to his professional attributes and contributions in the classroom, Andy is always willing to enhance our school environment with his involvement in other areas as well. He has been the driving force behind reevaluating our school handbook and establishing a school wide academic honesty policy. Andy has been heavily involved with our extra-curricular programs, serving as the Director to our MUN programs for the last two years and helped design and coordinate one of our first Week Without Walls trips this year.
It is my pleasure to offer Andy Seymour my highest recommendation as a High School Social Studies educator. His contributions to any school both personally and professionally will be invaluable, and I hope to have the opportunity to work with him again in the future.”
Sincerely,
Scott Carpenter
